Hanna Wedding | Bube's Brewery | Mount Joy, PA

Dennise and Dave's ceremony was by far the most uniquely beautiful ceremony we have ever had the privilege to photograph! The candlelit ceremony down in the catacombs of Bube's Brewery gave us ALL the feels! And we weren’t the only ones! Dennise and Dave’s children couldn’t help but tear up as the two said their vows to each other. It was a gorgeous small wedding and reception with the most important people in their lives. And to top it off, their daughter baked their wedding cake! It couldn’t have gotten any more special. Everything about this brewery/hotel was unique! From the “mirror” bedroom/bridal suite, to the other themed rooms with low lighting…we saw nothing but opportunities to take these challenging photos! We met Courtney and John for the very first time at their engagement shoot at Everhart Park in West Chester, PA a week back! And let me tell you, they are one gorgeous couple (Inside and Out)! For a couple that said they were not used to taking photos together, these guys were PROS! They made the photos look effortless and flawless! In between photos, we were able to hear a little bit of their history with how they met and got engaged. These two are just the sweetest couple and we are so excited to shoot their big day in a few months! Nothing beats a rustic winter themed wedding in January! Dennise and Dave are one of the craziest and most energetic couples we have had the privilege to photograph! We had a ton of fun with their 6 children when we mixed the engagement shoot with a family shoot! This entire family seems to have fun with everything they do! It didn’t take much to get them to laugh or smile for the camera. Even Dennise and Dave couldn’t help but giggle at each other during the shoot! We have to say…candid photos are our favorites and we got a ton of them with these guys! Oh! And we couldn’t forget to mention how they ended the shoot with a “High School Musical” jump of the 6 kids! How fun! I have known Jess since I was 13 years old. We were best friends throughout high school and we have been fortunate enough to have remained friends through adulthood! I was SO excited to hear that her and Jason were engaged and even MORE excited when she asked me to take her engagement photos! I always love photographing friends! As if spending the afternoon taking pictures of our friends couldn’t get any better…we had a picnic by the river afterwards with wine, cheese and fruit afterwards! It is always a pleasure to witness a family-friend marry their loved one...but being able to CAPTURE that day for them is something else entirely! We had a blast at Kelsey and Sean's wedding last month! Even though the forecast called for rain (and boy did it rain for a few hours), these two took it like CHAMPS! With an adorable appearance from their dog Hank (the cutest bulldog with the blue bow tie), and Kelsey's niece, Charlie, trying on her wedding dress (cue the tears)...the morning started off perfect! And it only got better from there! After a beautiful ceremony, the Bride and Groom along with their closest friends and family went to celebrate at King's Mills! I'm not sure I have seen a Bride and Groom have so much fun together at their wedding before! We were so happy to be part of their big day! Here are a few of our favorites!

KateLyn & Ryan | Wedding | Unionville, PA

KateLyn and Ryan are two of the sweetest people around. And their special day couldn’t have been any sweeter as well (and we aren’t just talking about the DELICIOUS cupcakes that were served for dessert)!

Between the breathtaking grounds of their rustic venue, the gorgeous flower arrangements, a perfect color scheme, a very loving bridal party, one stunningly elegant bride, and one shy (but excited) groom…it was the perfect day for a wedding!

As perfect as the day was, what really got to us was the hour after the ceremony when KateLyn and Ryan took us to Ryan’s family property at Glen Willow Orchards where Ryan grew up (cue the tears). The house that Ryan’s family grew up in is HISTORIC (I’m talking “a few centuries old” historic)! How cool is that?! We had a chance to roam the property for a bit and take some photos of the Bride and Groom in the orchards...and my oh my…what a view, and what a couple!

We couldn’t have been happier to be the ones capturing KateLyn and Ryan’s wedding day! Congratulations to the newlyweds! Take a look at some of our favorites from their special day!

Sam & Joe | Wedding | The Hotel DuPont | Wilmington, DE

Jamie and I had the awesome opportunity to shoot our friend’s wedding last month. We have known Sam and Joe for a few years now and when they asked us to be their wedding photographers, it was an EASY “yes”!

Their wedding was everything we expected...gorgeous, classy, elegant, something out of a fairytale. Sam was a stunning Bride (looking more like a princess than anyone we’ve seen in real life)! And her dress...oh her dress, it was every girl’s envy! And don’t get Jamie started on her shoes!

The beauty of the Hotel DuPont was the perfect setting for their fairy tale reception. With two very heartwarming speeches from the MOHs and Best Man, a special song sung to the Mother of the Bride by the Father of the Bride, as well as a surprise recording of Sam singing her and Joe’s “first dance song”...there wasn’t a dry eye in the ballroom!

It was an all around beautiful evening full of laughs, dancing, and good times! We were so happy to be part of it! Congratulations to our friends, the new Mr. and Mrs. McNerney!

Lauren and Andy's wedding looked like a Christmas wonderland! The venue was beautifully decorated for the Christmas season. Perfect for this beautiful couple! After an intimate candle-lit ceremony, the Bride and Groom were excited to dance the night away with their guests. The highlight of the evening was Lauren's surprise for her groom...their first dance song recorded by none other than Lauren herself (beautifully sung we might add)! And who could forget the fun father-daughter dance! It was a night full of pure enjoyment that we were happy to capture for them to look back on.

From the early morning prep to the end of the reception, Christine and Jason’s wedding was picture perfect. We were able to capture many wonderful moments throughout the entire day, including the mid-reception surprise from the Mummers String Band in honor of Christine’s grandfather! We loved seeing the bride’s as well as the guest’s reactions to the big surprise.

We completed the evening with a few shots on the golf course in the unique and beautiful nighttime fog. We were so happy to share and help keep the memories of Christine and Jason’s big day! Check out a few of our favorites!

Danielle & Zac McCarty | Wedding | Lancaster, PA

We couldn't believe how gorgeous the weather was for Danielle and Zac's August wedding! The sky was bright blue and loaded with lots of perfectly fluffy white clouds. Not to mention there was a cool breeze throughout most of the day. It was the perfect weather for an outside ceremony!

With a stunning view of Lancaster farms behind a large and beautifully handmade cross, Danielle and Zac said their vows in front of their closest family and friends. And it could not have been more perfect!

After hours of everyone celebrating and dancing at the reception, we ended the night by taking the newly weds aside and getting some last minute photos before the sunset. These were our favorites of the day because it was more than obvious just how much love these two have for each other.

We haven’t had too many opportunities to do maternity shoots, but when we do get the chance, they are some of the most beautiful photos! There is something really special and beautiful about photographing a “Mother-To-Be”. You can immediately tell, with just a glance of the photos, just how much love the mother already has for her baby.

It’s always a treat for us when we get to photograph our friends! We have been lucky enough to have known this next couple for a while now. Sam and Joe are SO much fun, and we mean the kind of fun where you sometimes laugh until you cry! Sam and my wife Jamie met when they performed in “Shrek the Musical” together at a local theatre, and it didn’t take long for us to get to know and become friends with Sam after that! There are almost no words to describe her, but if we had to try it would be “hilarious”, “talented”, “weird” (in a good way) and “beautiful”! She is such a kind and chill person and we are so happy that she is marrying her perfect match who happens to be another kind and chill (and super tall) person, Joe! Oh! And did we mention their puppy, BLUE?! He is just the cutest, happiest, most hyper, little puppy anyone will ever meet! Take a look for yourselves and I dare you not to agree!

With a forecast showing rain most of the week, we weren't sure if the sun was going to make an appearance for Danielle and Matt's big day...but boy were we wrong! The sun most definitely made the most grandest of appearances after Mother Nature had decided to get all of the rain out of her system earlier that morning. It was an absolutely beautiful day for a wedding on the bay!

As if the beach/bay setting wasn't perfect enough for Danielle and Matt's first look and ceremony...guests got to witness the most beautiful of sunsets during the reception! And we were lucky enough to capture intimate moments of these two newlyweds during that sunset right on the dock of the bay!

We had so much fun with Kelsey, Sean, and their (famous) dog, Hank, the other week in Media, PA for their engagement shoot! Walking around the town with Hank was like hanging out with a celebrity! Every single person we walked by had to stop to admire and pet him--and boy did he enjoy it! He thrived off of the attention from people! So we guess it's a good thing that he has such loving and caring parents!

From running in the middle of the street to catch a photo in front of the Media Trolley, to waiting until dark to try and get a photo in front of the Media theatre, we had a blast in the company of these three! Kelsey and Sean...we can't wait to share in the celebration of your wedding day next year and capture more of these amazing candid moments showing the incredible love you have for each other!

It was an extra special night because they were not only celebrating their marriage, but also the beginning of a NEW YEAR! We have been so lucky with the weather these past few photo sessions, and last week's engagement session with Amy and Matt was definitely one of the best! Everything seemed perfect! From the warm weather, to the colorful leaves and trees, and of course...the amazing couple! Amy and Matt were so much fun and were troupers when we asked them to do crazy things for certain shots (like climb on rocks or walk through water)! We have never shot at Valley Green before, but we are so happy that Amy suggested the location, and come to find out this is where she and Matt ran Cross Country when they were in college! It was nice getting the chance to know them as we walked through the park while exploring different places to get shots...the mile walk to and from the covered bridge was well worth it! Alexis & Ed Mckinney | Nottingham, PA

Last Saturday, Jamie and I woke up to a very windy and rainy day. We both thought, for sure, that we would end up canceling that day's photoshoot. Thankfully the rain died down later in the day, and although it was still very windy, Alexis wanted to move forward with the shoot...and we are SO happy that we did!!! I cannot believe how amazing the weather turned out to be! We ended finding our way into a small valley, located on their family's stunning property, that blocked most of the wind (and also gave a great backdrop for some beautiful photos)! The sun was shining bright and the autumn colors were vibrant! We had a great time with these two. Alexis and Ed are kind, funny, and just an all round fun couple to hang with! Bernardi Wedding | Stroudsmoor Country Inn | Stroudsburg, PA

Just a week ago I was able to travel up to Stroudsburg, PA for the Coder/Bernardi Wedding. It could not have been a more perfect autumn day! Perfect weather to go along with the beautiful scenery! As the autumn leaves were falling and the candles were being lit for the ceremony, Kim and Chris has their "first look". Kim looked stunning in her wedding dress and Chris couldn't help but smile when he saw her for the first time. Surrounded by all of their loved ones, they exchanged their vows in the beautiful woods at the Stroudsmoor Country Inn, and then celebrated the rest of the night with a beautiful reception! Last week, we had the pleasure to photograph Caitie + John for the second time! Only, this time, we were also photographing their tiny bundle of joy (with a few of his tiny furry friends). It turns out that even at just eleven days old, Logan is just as photogenic as his gorgeous parents! And the adorable puppies just added to all this cuteness! Jessica & Christian. Where, oh where, do we even begin?! Well for starters, lets state the fact that they are just about the most modelesque couple we’ve ever photographed! They were pros in front of the camera and posed like they were models in a Vogue magazine! Needless to say, we couldn’t WAIT to get our hands on these photos once we got home that night!

Jessica looked absolutely STUNNING in her long-sleeved, lacey, vintage-inspired wedding dress (seriously, her bridesmaids couldn’t help but gawk at her beauty…and neither could we!) and Christian’s gigantic smile only added to his charming suit and tie! It’s no wonder these two had their eyes locked on each other the entire time Jessica walked down the aisle.

It truly was a beautiful day for a wedding! With baby blue skies and a bright shining sun (and a gorgeous sunset later on in the evening), the slight breeze was the perfect remedy for taking photos outside!

After a fun and memorable reception, the newlyweds exited the venue, surrounded by their family and friends, with a sparkler sendoff into their limo! Oh, what a night!

The Wesley Family + Anniston's First Birthday Cake Smash Shoot | Old New Castle, DE

Little baby Anniston stole our hearts the other week when we went to the Wesley’s house for a family shoot! The instant our friend, Alyssa (Mommy to Anniston), opened the door to let us in, we saw little Anniston crawling over to us, curious to meet us! From that moment on, all we wanted to do was hold her and paly with her! But we had work to do first!

We traveled to the local park and spent some time taking family photos, but mostly, Anniston was “ready for her close up” as we took photos of her for her 1st birthday coming up! Balloons, stuffed animals, and rocking chairs made for some great props, but our favorite prop of the day was the…CAKE! That’s right! After we began to hear and feel a storm brewing, we took the party back to the Wesley’s house and Anniston had a BLAST with her cake smashing session on none other than the Wesley’s beautiful hardwood floor (sorry Dale)! We don’t think we’ve ever seen a happier (almost) 1 year old! Take a look at some of our favorites!

Claire + Jason (Engagement) | The Big Bend, Chadds Ford, PA

Claire and Jason were not even a bit shy of the camera during their engagement shoot a couple weeks ago! They came prepared and ready to shine (and smooch). Even within the first few minutes of being in front of our camera, we were lucky enough to catch some real, genuine smiles and giggles from Claire since her fiancé new just what to do to make her laugh. It was obvious from the start that these two compliment each other so well!

Combining the wonderful weather and a beautiful sunset, we were able to take in the beauty of the grounds of The Big Bend in Chadds Ford, where Claire and Jason will officially say “I do” this October! We are so excited to be there to capture their special day and celebrate their marriage in just a few short months! Take a look at some of our favorites from their engagement shoot!

Dunaway Gardens Wedding | Jessica + Ben

A couple weeks ago I had the privilege of photographing my sister-in-law’s wedding! After 13 hours of traveling down south to Atlanta, and two days full of pre-celebrating with some awesome new friends and family, it was time for the big day!

Jessica and Ben’s wedding was full of personal touches- with the ceremony readings from Jessica’s favorite book “Little Women”, and Jessica and Ben’s favorite books being placed as table center pieces…you could completely feel the style and interests that the Bride and Groom wanted to bring to their wedding. And as if that all wasn't enough, the Bride made her own wedding dress and the bridesmaid dresses! I have never seen so many special touches in a wedding before.

Everything went without a hitch! Even the weather surprised us! All week long the forecast called for 100% chance of rain and storms at the Dunaway Gardens on the day of the wedding. But after just the slightest sprinkle of rain in the morning, the sun was shining and the sky was bright blue for the rest of the day!

After a beautifully emotional ceremony and an incredibly fun and exciting reception, the night ended with the bride and groom dancing and singing with their closest family and friends surrounding them. There was so much love in the room you could probably feel it a mile away! Take a look at some of our favorites from the day!

The Old Mill Wedding | Muareen + Frank

From the moment we walked through the door on the morning of her big day, Maureen was smiling from ear to ear! She couldn't of been happier or more ready to say "I do"! After a beautiful ceremony, the newlyweds celebrated with friends and family at a STUNNING reception hall. If the beautiful spring day and gorgeous scenery of the hall wasn't enough...the adorable personal touches that Maureen and Frank added to the reception certainly completed the entire affair! Frank and Maureen put their talents to work and planned an entire carnival themed wedding reception full of DIY projects. With "game" stations, caricature artists, a kissing booth, and even an ice cream sundae station...Maureen and Frank's personality shined through every small detail. A freak snow storm in April? YES PLEASE! Jess & Ben sure weren’t expecting snow on their Spring wedding day…but it came, and it was BEAUTIFUL! After a beautiful ceremony officiated by the Bride’s brother, the Bride and Groom as well as their closest friends embraced the snow and had a chilly, but FUN adventure taking photos! After falling in the snow a few times, Jamie and I got the shots we wanted with these two champs and then headed inside for an exciting reception celebrating the marriage of the new Mr. & Mrs. Rosen! John and Caitie…. What can we say about John and Caitie? Well, we can start by saying they are just about the sweetest couple ever! They are beautiful on the inside and out! Seriously, can you say STUNNING? Some might even say they are the real life Barbie & Ken! Caitie looked radiant with her long blonde curls and John looked charming in his grey suit. After a gorgeous ceremony, they celebrated their marriage with family and friends with lots of laughs, love, dancing, and DOGS! That’s right…they brought their two adorable French Bulldogs to the wedding and they both made an appearance on the dance floor! Oh, what a night!
